This design was created in memory of Tom Washington, a Marine, air traffic controller, husband and father. Tom was the kind of person who made the room better just by walking into it. His sudden passing left a hole in our community, and we wanted to do something that meant something.
This shirt isn’t just about Tom. It’s about all of us. The ones who keep showing up, even on the hard days. It’s a reminder that this job is demanding, and the silence around mental health has gone on too long.
The front keeps it simple with ATC Mental Health Awareness. The back says what we all need to hear sometimes:
Don’t let the hard days win.
All profits go directly to Tom’s family.
